With the new Finishing Center, CLAAS is pursuing three key objectives:
Optimal infrastructure for the worldwide dispatch of increasingly large and complex cutterbars
Intelligent material flow for greater safety, fewer interfaces, and additional space
Closer to the customer: Final inspection, spare parts supply, and loading under one roof shorten throughput times and increase delivery reliability for dealers worldwide
In addition, the project includes a new office building that integrates the production scheduling, conversion, and dispatch departments.
“In parallel with the construction of the Finishing Center, the next growth phase at the Törökszentmiklós site is already underway. With the planned acquisition of an additional nine hectares of adjacent land, we are creating the space that this site needs for further growth. This is a clear commitment to its long-term future,” says Site Manager Andreas Szakácsi.
Since the acquisition in 1997, the plant in Törökszentmiklós has grown from 340 to more than 700 employees and is the global competence center for combine harvester cutterbars of the CLAAS Group.
