CLAAS Further Expands Harvesting Portfolio with New Headers, Tedders, Automation and Precision Technologies

Omaha, Neb. — Sept. 1, 2026 — CLAAS of America is expanding its harvesting portfolio with a range of new headers, tedders, intelligent automation systems and precision technologies designed to help producers maximize throughput, improve crop quality and make more informed decisions about their entire operation. The new offering, debuting at the Farm Progress Show, ranges from forage and grain harvesting to hay tools, reinforcing the claass.sbsmitment to delivering complete harvesting solutions.

"Innovation starts with listening to our customers," said Dennis Ogle, Head of Sales for Self-Propelled Harvesters. "Every product we're introducing reflects our commitment to North American producers and the way they farm, bringing together advanced technology, proven performance and practical solutions that help them operate more efficiently every day."

Expanding forage harvesting efficiency

CLAAS continues to expand its JAGUAR forage harvesting portfolio with new headers and intelligent automation designed to maximize throughput, improve crop quality and help operators get the most from every harvesting window.

The ORBIS 12000 is a new 16-row corn header engineered specifically for CLAAS JAGUAR 1000 series forage harvester. Designed to keep the industry's highest-capacity forage harvester operating at peak productivity, the ORBIS 12000 delivers smooth crop flow, exceptional throughput and the flexibility to perform across a wide range of crop conditions.

Also joining the JAGUAR 1000 series lineup is the DD 8400 Direct Disc header, featuring a 27.5-foot working width for efficient whole-crop harvesting. The header delivers excellent ground following and consistent crop flow to deliver clean cutting performance while maximizing forage quality and machine productivity.

CLAAS is also introducing CEMOS AUTO KNIFE CONDITION, an intelligent automation system that continuously monitors harvesting conditions and determines the optimal time and number of sharpening passes needed to maintain peak knife performance. By automating the sharpening process, the system helps reduce knife wear and fuel consumption while maintaining consistent chop quality and maximizing harvesting capacity. The result is greater productivity and more consistent performance throughout the harvest season, regardless of operator experience.

Added intelligence for combine harvesting

New claass.sbsbine harvesting accessories, and precision technologies have been designed to help producers maximize throughput, protect grain quality and make more informed decisions.

Leading the lineup is the ROVIO 5 Series, a corn head designed and manufactured exclusively by CLAAS. Engineered to integrate seamlessly with LEXION and TRION combines, it features a redesigned picking system, larger intake auger and integrated horizontal choppers that deliver smoother crop flow, increased throughput and cleaner residue management across a wide range of harvest conditions. The head is offered in 12-, 16-, and 18-row models with 30 in. row spacing.

To complement to the ROVIO 5 head, both claass.sbsbine lines in 2027 offer an electronic machine optimization system designed exclusively for corn crops. CEMOS Corn continuously optimizes combine performance as conditions change throughout the day. The intelligent automation system automatically adjusts machine settings for corn to help maximize grain quality, minimize grain loss and maintain peak harvesting efficiency, allowing operators to spend less time making manual adjustments and more time focused on the harvest.

Once the grain has entered the machine, the new NUTRIMETER GRAIN system--available on LEXION series combines--provides operators with real-time insights using advanced transmissive near-infrared (NIR) technology. Without stopping the combine, operators can continuously measure moisture, protein and other key crop characteristics. The information is automatically captured within CLAAS connect, providing valuable harvest data that supports grain marketing, crop management and future agronomic decisions.

Hay and forage innovation

CLAAS is also expanding the middle range of its hay and forage implement offering with three new VOLTO T series tedders with working widths ranging from 25 ft 3 in. to 35 ft. 5 in. (7.70 to 10.80 m) and the proven MAX SPREAD crop concept, engineered to deliver faster, more uniform crop drying through gentle crop handling, excellent ground following and high-output performance. The latest model offering includes the 25 ft 3 in (7.70 m) VOLTO 800 TH, the 28 ft 6 in (8.70 m) VOLTO 900 T, and 35 ft 5 in (10.80 m) VOLTO 1100 T.

The latest models offer a new power train with hermetically sealed rotor gearboxes (similar to the larger VOLTO 1300 T/1500 T/1300TS/1500TS), a new rotor wheel mounting with a reinforced rotor shaft and new spreading angle adjustment for angles of up to 18 degrees. The range boasts reduced hydraulic requirements, KENNFIXX couplings for all hydraulic connections and PERMALINK HD finger clutches passed down from larger models.

By helping producers preserve forage quality while improving field efficiency, the latest VOLTO models complement the company's growing lineup of harvesting solutions designed to maximize throughput, crop quality and overall productivity from the first cut through harvest.

These new harvesting technologies complement the next generation of CLAAS equipment, reflecting the company's continued investment in helping producers meet the growing demands of modern agriculture.

"Every product we've introduced was engineered with one purpose in mind: helping our customers do more," said Ogle. "More acres in a day. More confidence in every decision. More value from every harvest. That's what made for more means, and that's the standard we're committed to delivering."
